me
Welcome to my little space of shameless self-promotion! My name is Alexander Pierce Eden. [see my Face in book form here] I am a freelance web developer, designer, and for-hire superhero. I got my start a year ago when I bought my first domain name for the same reason I do most things, just for the hell of it. Since then, my attention span has perservered long enough that I've been able to teach myself the rich and often stupidly overcomplicated workings of the WWW.
you
More to the point, I want to use my knowlege and nerdy-prowess to build you a beautiful, cutting-edge, user-interactive and overall Awesome 2.0 website. If I'm successful in conveying my abilities to you through this site, it should be clear that if you want it, I can do it. If I can't do it, I'll learn it. As a very poor college student, my Ramen-saturated stomach and I would like to leave you with one final message: HIRE ME!
look what I can do!
This is the part where I outline my skills and abilities so that you can determine whether or not I may actually be what you're looking for. So, to make the process easier, I've divided my skills into categories and given them a score based on my compentency or knowledge regarding that particular subject. The ratings are on a scale from one circlething to five circlethings. One being only a fundamental knowledge of the topic, five being a level on par with Jesus Christ. You're welcome.

user-generated content
User comments, testimonials, login names, messaging systems, media uploading, and the list goes on. Whatever you'd like your site's users to be able to do, I can make it happen.
ultra-interactive sites
This is actually my favorite part of doing web development. I use a combination of third-party script frameworks like jQuery & MooTools, along with my own custom coding to bring a website to life. I strive to create interfaces that are both beautiful and highly-intuitive.
search engine visibility
Speaking from experience with domains, a good third of viewers get to any given site via an online search. (Google, Bing, etc) With all my work, I utilize all the tools available to get your site at the top of the list.
demographic evaluation
As a business, getting to know your audience is invaluable. Using Google Analytics, you can know who is looking at your site (even in real-time), how they got there, what browser they're using, if they've been to the site before, where they are located, what language they speak, etc etc etc. It's basically omniscience with flow charts.
